The soul of this creation

The pentacle, or pentagram, is a five-pointed star symbolizing the union of the spirit with the natural elements (water, earth, air and fire) in the great whole of the universe represented by the circle. When the pentacle is turned upwards, as it is here, the spirit is considered to be turned towards sky, and therefore, by extension, towards spirituality. In neo-paganism, the pentacle is considered a powerful symbol of protection.

For this pendant, I wanted to combine this beautiful symbol with interlacing inspired by elven imagery, to give it a certain delicacy, and with small ivy leaves, symbol of eternal life, to reinforce its link with nature.
