These large smoky quartz runes have been engraved and then traced with a black water and light resistant paint. Each stone measures approximately 2 to 3 cm and has been carefully selected for its quality, color and shape.

Handmade smoky quartz runes

  • Exclusive creation

    These runes were engraved and painted by us, in our small workshop located in the Vosges mountains, in France. The black paint gives them a touch of originality and differentiates them from the traditional runes which are usually golden. Moreover, it gives them a strong symbolism of balance between light and shadow.

The runes symbolism

The runes we have engraved are from the ancient futhark. The set includes 24 engraved symbols, as well as a blank rune (without symbol), named Wyrd and representing the destiny. In this sense it is closely related to the Norns of Scandinavian mythology.

Smoky quartz is a very effective anchor stone linked to the root chakra and earth energy. This beautiful stone helps to calm stress and alleviate fear while providing positive energy.

Purification

The paint used has undergone numerous tests in our workshop to ensure that it is water resistant, which allows you to purify them in this way without any problem. It does not lose its shine when exposed to light, so it will have perfect durability over the years. We advise you to avoid using salt or salt water to purify your runes, as these methods damage the stones.
